Acolyte equipment list
Allowed
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Special Issue Boltgun
  • Boltgun
  • Captured Xeno Weapon
  • Conversion Beamer
  • Needle Weapon
  • Carapace Armour
  • Preysight Lean
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade

The Acolyte equips as the flexible body of the retinue, with a broad practical list. It may carry a bolt pistol, a plain or special-issue boltgun, or a captured xeno-weapon, and answer close work with a needle weapon. Carapace armour, a xeno-targeter and grenades round it out. The breadth of the list lets an Acolyte be built into the special-issue line, made a scavenger of alien guns, or kept a cheap body that simply holds the native majority.

Crusader equipment list
Allowed
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Storm Bolter
  • Combi Weapon
  • Captured Xeno Weapon
  • Power Sword
  • Power Fist
  • Carapace Armour
  • Conversion Beamer
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade

The Crusader equips as the retinue's wall. It may carry a bolt pistol, a storm bolter or a combi-weapon for weight of fire, or gamble on a captured xeno-weapon, and it strikes in melee with a power sword or power fist. Carapace armour and grenades complete a heavy front-line kit. This is the fighter built to hold the line and take the charge, freeing the marksmen behind it to work the declared prey.

Death Cult equipment list
Allowed
  • Needle Pistol
  • Needle Weapon
  • Power Sword
  • Armoured Bodyglove
  • Combat Stimms
  • Xeno Toxin Reservoir

The Death-Cult Assassin equips as a close-kill specialist and nothing else. It carries a needle pistol and fights with a needle weapon or a power sword, its blades fed by combat stimms and, against the declared prey, a xeno-toxin reservoir that bites a step deeper. An armoured bodyglove is its only protection — this is a glass killer, fast and lethal and unarmoured, meant to reach the alien the guns cannot and open it with a poisoned edge.

Inquisitor equipment list
Allowed
  • Digital Weapons
  • Digi Weapons
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Special Issue Boltgun
  • Captured Xeno Weapon
  • Conversion Beamer
  • Force Weapon
  • Power Sword
  • Carapace Armour
  • Rosarius
  • Preysight Lean
  • Psyk Out Grenade

The Inquisitor equips as the warband's master, with the widest list in the retinue. It may carry Jokaero digital weapons or a bolt pistol as a sidearm, take the special-issue boltgun or a captured xeno-weapon as its main gun, and answer melee with a force weapon or power sword. Carapace armour and a bought rosarius field guard the body, a xeno-targeter sharpens the aimed shot against the prey, and psyk-out grenades handle the witch. It is the one fighter with the reach to build for the shot, the blade or the ward as the hunt demands.

Interrogator equipment list
Allowed
  • Digital Weapons
  • Digi Weapons
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Special Issue Boltgun
  • Power Sword
  • Carapace Armour
  • Preysight Lean
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade

The Interrogator equips as a versatile Champion. It may take Jokaero digital weapons or a bolt pistol, the special-issue boltgun for the firing line, and a power sword for close work, with carapace armour and a xeno-targeter to steady the aimed shot. Frag and krak grenades round out the kit. It carries the adaptive gun and the Champion's blade both, a sub-leader shaped for whichever end of the hunt it is sent to.

Jokaero equipment list
Allowed
  • Digital Weapons

The Jokaero equips like nothing else in the retinue: its entire list is the digital weapons of its own making. It buys no armour, no wargear and no purchasable gun, because a bound alien artisan fights only with what its own craft produces. Everything else it contributes — the digital-weapon aura, the between-battle re-forge — flows from its nature, not from the armoury.

Marksman equipment list
Allowed
  • Special Issue Boltgun
  • Needle Pistol
  • Captured Xeno Weapon
  • Preysight Lean
  • Special Issue Magazine
  • Carapace Armour
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade

The Acolyte Marksman equips around its one purpose — the special-issue boltgun, the gun the whole doctrine feeds. It may add a needle pistol as a sidearm or a captured xeno-weapon for a scavenged edge, and it takes the accessories that matter most to a shot: a xeno-targeter to re-roll the aimed Hit and a special-issue magazine to deepen its armoury. Carapace armour and grenades finish the kit. Everything on its list serves the aimed round against the declared prey; it carries no melee answer, because it is never meant to be reached.

Mystic equipment list
Allowed
  • Force Weapon
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Carapace Armour
  • Psychic Hood
  • Auspex

The Mystic equips as the sanctioned psyker it is, with a spare and purposeful list. It carries a force weapon and a bolt pistol, wears carapace armour beneath a psychic hood to turn a hostile Wyrd power, and bears an auspex to reveal the infiltrating xeno the rest of the retinue cannot yet see. Its kit serves detection and warding before killing; the Mystic is the warband's eyes against the alien, not its gun.

Servitor equipment list
Allowed
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Carapace Armour

The Servitor equips as an expendable drudge, with the shortest list in the warband. It may carry a boltgun or a bolt pistol and wear carapace armour, and it takes nothing more — a mind-wiped body pointed at the enemy and told to fire. It fills out the cheap ranks and asks for no kit a living fighter would want.
