Acolyte equipment list
Allowed
  • Flamer
  • Boltgun
  • Needle Weapon
  • Carapace Armour
  • Condemnor Stake Rounds
  • Sacred Promethium
  • Psyk Out Grenade

The versatile body of the retinue, armed for whatever the hunt demands. An Acolyte may carry a hand flamer or flamer as the warband's purging tool, take up a boltgun for the firing line, or arm for close work with a needle weapon. It may be issued carapace armour, and may stock the witch-bane consumables — condemnor stake-rounds and sacred promethium — against the moment a heretic must burn. Psyk-out grenades round out its kit for the anti-psyker work the House is built on.

Crusader equipment list
Allowed
  • Condemnor Boltgun
  • Flamer
  • Power Sword
  • Power Fist
  • Eviscerator
  • Carapace Armour
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade

The condemnor-Crusader is the wall of the retinue and the executioner's shot in one. It carries the condemnor boltgun as its signature — the anti-psyker weapon that defines its place in the line — or a flamer where a cult must be burned from cover. For close work it may take a power sword, a power fist, or the kitbashed eviscerator to hew a heretic apart in a single two-handed stroke, and it goes to war in its heavy carapace to hold the front. Frag and krak grenades complete a Champion's field kit.

Death Cult equipment list
Allowed
  • Needle Pistol
  • Needle Weapon
  • Power Sword
  • Armoured Bodyglove
  • Combat Stimms
  • Blade Venom

The glass executioner, kept lean and lethal. A Death-Cult Assassin arms for the kill alone — a needle pistol at range, and a needle weapon or a power sword for the strike that ends a cult-leader. It wears only an armoured bodyglove, trading protection for speed, and may prime itself with combat stimms and coat its blades in venom before it is loosed at the marked heretic's throat.

Inquisitor equipment list
Allowed
  • Force Weapon
  • Condemnor Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Inferno Pistol
  • Digi Weapons
  • Eviscerator
  • Carapace Armour
  • Rosarius
  • Psychic Hood
  • Psyk Out Grenade

The warband's master is the best-armed body in it. He advances in his worn carapace as standard, and may bear a force weapon or the condemnor boltgun to execute a witch, carrying a bolt pistol or an inferno pistol as a sidearm. A zealot Lord may take up the kitbashed eviscerator to open a heretic in a single stroke, and — as every Inquisitor of old rank — conceals a set of digital weapons in his gauntlet for the killing courtesy no enemy sees coming. He may take a rosarius for its invulnerable field and a psychic hood to ward his own mind against the warp. Psyk-out grenades complete the anti-psyker kit befitting the leader of a witch-hunt.

Interrogator equipment list
Allowed
  • Condemnor Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Power Sword
  • Digi Weapons
  • Carapace Armour
  • Psychic Hood
  • Psyk Out Grenade

The Inquisitor's right hand, armed to extend his authority into the line. An Interrogator carries the condemnor boltgun for the execution shot and a bolt pistol at its side, and takes a power sword for close work. As a Throne Agent of rank it may bear a set of concealed digital weapons in its gauntlet, one hidden shot held for the moment a target thinks itself safe. It goes to war in its worn carapace and may ward itself with a psychic hood, and carries psyk-out grenades for the suppression work it shares with its master.

Pariah equipment list
Allowed
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Power Maul
  • Pariah Shroud

The caged blank is a body kept for its presence, not its arsenal. A Pariah carries little — a bolt pistol, and a power maul for when something closes — and takes the Pariah shroud to deepen the null it already projects. It has no need of the psychic wards the others buy; the warp simply cannot touch it, and it walks into the heart of the enemy's casters in nothing but flak.

Penitent equipment list
Allowed
  • Needle Weapon
  • Power Maul

The chained condemned is given little and expected to spend it fast. A Penitent goes to war with a needle weapon or a power maul in its fists and nothing else worth the name — no armour beyond the rags and flak it is bound in, no gear to keep it alive past the charge. It is driven before the line to break the enemy's front, and what it carries is only enough to kill on the way in.

Sage equipment list
Allowed
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Carapace Armour
  • Psychic Hood
  • Servo Skull
  • Auspex

The interrogator-scribe fights at the edges and works between battles. A Dialogus carries a bolt pistol for its own defence and little more in the way of arms. It is armoured in carapace and may ward itself with a psychic hood, but its true kit is its craft — a servo-skull to range ahead and an auspex to strip the concealment from an infiltrating cult.

Servitor equipment list
Allowed
  • Boltgun

The expendable drudge of the retinue, issued a single tool and set to it. A Servitor is given a boltgun and nothing else — no wargear, no choices, no initiative of its own — a gun-servitor walked into a firing position and left to hold it. It is the least of the retinue's bodies, expended in the hunt without a backward glance.
