Apothecary equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Narthecium
  • Reductor
  • Signum
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • No heavy or special weapons; the medical gear (narthecium, reductor) is the Apothecary's true armament

The Apothecary fields as a healer, not a heavy hitter. Its default power armour comes as standard, and it may add a boltgun or bolt pistol and frag or krak grenades. Its true armament is the medical gear it carries — the narthecium and reductor that recover the fallen and their gene-seed — with a signum to coordinate the line. It takes no heavy or special weapons; keeping the wings alive is the whole of its work.

Captain equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Mark Gravis
  • Mark Terminator
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Power Sword
  • Power Fist
  • Thunder Hammer
  • Sword Of Secrets
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Iron Halo
  • War Bike
  • Inner Circle Robes
Restricted
  • The Captain may join either wing: the Terminator mark for the Deathwing hold or the war Bike for the Ravenwing race

The Captain carries the widest arsenal in the strike force. Over its standard armour it may take the Gravis or Terminator marks, a boltgun, bolt or plasma pistol, and a power sword, power fist or thunder hammer; the relic Sword of Secrets is its alone. It may bear an iron halo and the Inner Circle Robes, and — the wing-choice at the heart of the House — the Terminator mark to anchor the Deathwing hold or a war-bike to lead the Ravenwing race.

Centurion equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Centurion Warsuit
  • Heavy Bolter
  • Multi Melta
  • Lascannon
Restricted
  • Twin heavy weapons are warsuit Scoped (fitted to the Centurion chassis, not hand Carried); an assault build swaps to integral siege drills

The Centurion fights in its integral warsuit, part of the chassis and never removed. Its twin heavy weapons — heavy bolter, multi-melta or lascannon — are warsuit-scoped, fitted to the frame rather than hand-carried, and the Assault lean swaps them for integral siege drills. It is a self-contained weapons-platform: what it fields is bolted to it, not drawn from the racks.

Chaplain equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Mark Terminator
  • Crozius
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Iron Halo
  • War Bike
  • Watcher In The Dark

The Chaplain's melee is restricted to the crozius arcanum, the badge of its office and its weapon both. Over standard armour it may add a bolt or plasma pistol, grenades and an iron halo. It too may choose a wing — the Terminator mark to hold with the Deathwing, or a war-bike to ride with the Ravenwing — carrying its judgement to whichever war the strike force fights.

Deathwing Terminator equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Terminator
  • Storm Bolter
  • Power Fist
  • Chainfist
  • Thunder Hammer
  • Lightning Claws
  • Mace Of Absolution
  • Lions Roar
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Storm Shield
  • Teleport Homer
Restricted
  • The Terminator mark is integral to the anvil body; ranged is the storm bolter or the Lion's Roar combi only; the Deathwing arsenal of fist, chainfist, hammer, claws and storm shield is Terminator Scoped

The Deathwing Terminator fights on the Terminator mark, integral to its anvil body and never set aside. Its ranged arm is the storm bolter or the relic Lion's Roar combi alone. Its close-combat arsenal — power fist, chainfist, thunder hammer and lightning claws — is Terminator-scoped, as is the storm shield it may raise and the teleport homer that guides its brothers down. Everything it carries is built to hold ground and end what closes on it.

Dreadnought equipment list
Allowed
  • Heavy Bolter
  • Multi Melta
  • Lascannon
Restricted
  • Armament is walker Scoped the twin mount and the Dreadnought fist are part of the chassis, not purchased from the shared racks

The Dreadnought's armament is walker-scoped — the twin mount and the Dreadnought fist are part of the sarcophagus chassis, not drawn from the shared racks. Its heavy weapon is a heavy bolter, multi-melta or lascannon, fitted to the frame. The interred hero fights with what it was entombed with, and needs nothing more.

Librarian equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Mark Terminator
  • Force Weapon
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Iron Halo
Restricted
  • Melee restricted to the Force weapon (the psyker's blade); may take the Terminator mark to stand in a Deathwing anvil

The Librarian's melee is the Force weapon and the Force weapon alone — the psyker's blade, no other close-combat arm permitted. Over standard armour it may add a bolt or plasma pistol, grenades and an iron halo, and it may take the Terminator mark to stand within a Deathwing anvil. Its power is its mind; its wargear only frames it.

Lieutenant equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Mark Gravis
  • Mark Terminator
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Power Sword
  • Power Fist
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Iron Halo
  • War Bike
Restricted
  • Like the Captain, the Lieutenant may take the Terminator mark to lead the Deathwing or a war Bike to lead the Ravenwing

The Lieutenant arms almost as broadly as its Captain. Over standard armour it may take the Gravis or Terminator marks, a boltgun, bolt or plasma pistol, a power sword or power fist, grenades and an iron halo. Like its master it faces the wing-choice: take the Terminator mark to lead the Deathwing, or a war-bike to lead the Ravenwing.

Marine equipment list

  • Mark Terminator
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Carbine
  • Storm Bolter

  • Lascannon
  • Plasma Cannon

  • Power Sword
  • Power Fist
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • Heavy weapons are Devastator Spec only (requires Gravis or a set position); the line body is the un Winged backbone the two wings form up from

The Marine carries the broadest common arsenal in the strike force. Over standard armour it may take the Gravis or Terminator marks; from the racks a boltgun, carbine or storm bolter, a bolt or plasma pistol, the full range of special and heavy weapons, and a chainsword, power sword or power fist. Heavy weapons are Devastator-spec, needing the Gravis mark or a set position. The line body is the un-winged backbone the two wings form up from.

Mounted Marine equipment list
Allowed
  • War Bike
  • Mark Power
  • Storm Bolter
  • Twin Boltgun
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Chainsword
  • Power Sword
  • Combat Knife
  • Frag Grenade
Restricted
  • The war Bike is always ridden (the Ravenwing line); no heavy weapons the bike Mounted twin bolters and a blade are the whole arsenal

The Mounted Marine rides always — the war-bike is integral to the Ravenwing line, never dismounted. Over standard armour it may take a storm bolter, boltgun, bolt or plasma pistol, and a chainsword, power sword or combat knife, with frag grenades. It carries no heavy weapons: the bike-mounted twin bolters and a blade are the whole of its arsenal.

Ravenwing Black Knight equipment list
Allowed
  • War Bike
  • Mark Power
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Plasma Talon
  • Storm Bolter
  • Power Sword
  • Corvus Hammer
  • Raven Sword
  • Frag Grenade
  • Iron Halo
  • Sable Banner
Restricted
  • The war Bike is always ridden (the Ravenwing elite); the plasma talon is modelled as the twin plasma pistol, the corvus hammer as a rending power weapon

The Ravenwing Black Knight rides always — the war-bike is integral to its tier, never dismounted. Over standard armour it may take a plasma pistol, storm bolter or power sword, or bear the relic Raven Sword; the plasma talon is modelled as the twin plasma pistol, the corvus hammer as a rending power weapon. An iron halo and the Sable Banner complete a loadout built for the fastest, deadliest edge of the hunt.

Redemptor Dreadnought equipment list
Allowed
  • Plasma Cannon
  • Heavy Bolter
  • Multi Melta
  • Frag Grenade
Restricted
  • Armament is walker Scoped the macro plasma or gatling and the Redemptor fist are part of the chassis, not purchased from the shared racks

The Redemptor's armament is walker-scoped — the macro plasma or gatling arm, the Redemptor fist and the chassis fragstorm launcher are all part of the frame, not drawn from the shared racks. It fields a plasma cannon, heavy bolter or multi-melta as its main gun, everything bolted to the sarcophagus. What it carries, it was built around.

Scout equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Carapace
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Carbine
  • Astartes Shotgun
  • Bolt Sniper Rifle
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Combat Knife
  • Chainsword
  • Frag Grenade
Restricted
  • Armour restricted to Carapace only; special weapons restricted to the bolt sniper rifle (the marksman pick)

The Scout is lightly kitted — armour restricted to carapace and nothing heavier. It may take a boltgun, bolt carbine or astartes shotgun, and among the special weapons only the bolt sniper rifle, the marksman's pick. A bolt pistol, combat knife or chainsword and frag grenades complete a loadout built for a fighter who works ahead of the line, not in the thick of it.

Techmarine equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Meltagun
  • Grav Gun
  • Power Fist
  • Signum
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • Special weapons restricted to the melta and grav the artificer favours; the power fist stands in for the servo Arm's crushing grip

The Techmarine arms for the work its craft knows best. Over standard armour it may take a boltgun or bolt pistol, and among the special weapons only the meltagun and grav-gun the artificer favours. A power fist stands in for the crushing grip of a servo-arm, and a signum coordinates its fire. Grenades round out a loadout built to tend and to break machines alike.
