The Damned Legionnaire advances chiefly through Ferocity and Shooting — the wrath of the dead and the cursed fire of its guns are the whole of how a line body grows. It draws more slowly on Brawn, Combat and the Legion's own Signature set. The locked columns are the point: it knows nothing of Agility, Cunning or Savant, for a revenant learns only to endure, to advance and to burn the enemy down.

The Heavy Legionnaire advances through Brawn and Shooting — the strength to bear a heavy weapon and the gunnery to place its fire — and more slowly through Combat, Ferocity and the Legion's Signature set. Its access is bent entirely toward standing and shooting rather than closing. Agility, Cunning, Savant and Leadership are barred: the heavy of the dead is a gun-platform, and it grows only into a steadier, deadlier one.
The Legionnaire Sergeant advances on the broadest access of the strike force, drawing freely from Ferocity, Shooting and the Legion's Signature set, and more slowly on Brawn, Combat and Leadership. It is the only Damned to reach Leadership at all — a last, thin thread of command in a band that keeps no hierarchy. Agility, Cunning and Savant stay barred: even the leader of the dead learns only wrath, advance and cursed fire.
The Special Legionnaire advances first through Shooting and the Legion's Signature set, fitting a fighter built around a single cursed gun, and draws more slowly on Brawn, Combat and Ferocity. Its access is narrower than the Sergeant's and turned toward its weapon: it grows into the specialist that drops in and burns down what the line cannot. Agility, Cunning, Savant and Leadership are all barred — the empty columns are the identity.
The Relic Damned Dreadnought advances through Brawn alone as its ready path, and draws only slowly on Combat, Ferocity and Shooting. Its access is the narrowest in the whole Legion. A walker learns little, and what little it learns is to hit harder and to endure longer — nothing finer than that. No Signature skills come within its reach, and none of the subtler disciplines either. The interred dead is a blunt, unstoppable instrument, and left to itself it grows only blunter and more unstoppable still.
