The Blood Claw advances toward the charge he already craves. His Primary access is Agility, Combat and Ferocity — speed, killing skill and raw aggression, the edges of a young warrior who wants only to reach the enemy. Brawn, Shooting and the Space Wolves Signature set fall to Secondary. He grows fiercer before he grows wiser, which is the whole shape of the savage young.
Skill Access13
The Wolf Lord advances as a front-rank war-king. His Primary access spans Brawn, Combat, Ferocity, Leadership and the Space Wolves Signature set — the skills of a leader who kills at the tip of the charge and drives the pack from within it. Agility, Savant and Shooting sit in Secondary, the rounder edges of a warrior whose trade is the melee and the command of the hunt.
The Centurion advances as a walking gun-platform. Its Primary access is Brawn, Ferocity and Shooting — the strength to bear the twin heavy mount and the aggression to keep it firing under pressure. Combat and the Space Wolves Signature set sit in Secondary. It grows toward armour and firepower, never toward speed; the warsuit is a wall, and it advances by becoming a harder one.
The Wolf Priest advances as fighter, leader and keeper of lore in one. His Primary access covers Combat, Ferocity, Leadership and Savant — the skills to hold the line, steady the pack and carry its rites. Brawn, Shooting and the Space Wolves Signature set fall to Secondary. He grows toward the role the pack needs most: a warrior-priest as ready to inspire as to kill.
The Dreadnought advances on the memory of the warrior within. Its Primary access is Brawn, Combat and Ferocity — the killing edges of an interred hero who still leans into the charge. Shooting sits alone in Secondary. It grows harder and more savage, the old fury sharpening inside the sarcophagus, a war-engine that fights as the brother it once was.
The Fenrisian Wolf advances by instinct, not tutelage. Its access is Primary only — Agility, Combat, Cunning and Ferocity — the sharpening of a beast that already knows how to run, bite and hunt. It carries no Secondary sets; there is nothing of the soldier's craft to teach it. Every advance makes it a swifter, deadlier animal, which is all the pack ever asks of the wolf-kin.
The Rune Priest advances first as a scholar of the runes. Savant and the Storms of Fenris discipline are his Primary sets — the disciplined mind that reads the storm and turns it, and the storm-magic it commands. His Secondary access runs broad: Combat, Cunning, Ferocity, Leadership, Shooting, the Space Wolves Signature set and the universal Smite. A Rune Priest can grow toward the fight or the field as the hunt demands, but always from a foundation of learning first.
The Wolf Guard advances as the pack's hard blade. His Primary access covers Brawn, Combat, Ferocity and the Space Wolves Signature set — the makings of a close-combat anchor who breaks the enemy line and holds the ground he takes. Agility, Leadership and Shooting fall to Secondary, the supporting edges of a champion whose first duty is to fight where the press is thickest.
The Long Fang advances as the pack's gunline veteran. His Primary access is Brawn and Shooting — the strength to hold a heavy weapon steady and the marksmanship to make each shot tell. Combat, Ferocity, Leadership and the Space Wolves Signature set sit in Secondary. He grows toward the long shot and the patient hand, the grey-mane the young charge is fired from.
The Grey Hunter advances as the pack's versatile line-brother. His Primary access spans Combat, Ferocity, Shooting and the Space Wolves Signature set — the full toolkit of a warrior equally at home cutting in the press or firing on the approach. Brawn falls to Secondary. He grows into whatever the hunt needs, the seasoned killer the whole gang is built around.
The Thunderwolf rider advances as the pack's fast hammer. His Primary access is broad — Agility, Combat, Cunning, Ferocity and the Space Wolves Signature set — the skills of a warrior who crosses the field at speed and strikes where the enemy is weakest. Brawn and Shooting fall to Secondary. He grows toward the charge and the breakthrough, mount and rider sharpening together into a single closing weight.
The Iron Priest advances as a smith who fights. His Primary access is Brawn and Savant — the strength of his servo-arm and the deep craft-knowledge of a keeper of machines. Combat, Shooting and the Space Wolves Signature set sit in Secondary, the fighting edges he adds to the trade. He grows toward the mending of iron and the wrecking of the enemy's, a warrior whose skills serve the pack's wargear first.
The Wulfen advances along the narrow path of the beast. His Primary access is Brawn, Combat and Ferocity — pure killing edges, all of them sharpening the frenzy he already is. Agility and the Space Wolves Signature set sit in Secondary, the few skills the curse-driven body will still bend to. He grows more dangerous, never more measured; every advance points him harder at the enemy's throat.
