Apothecary equipment list

  • Bolt Pistol

  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • Narthecium (the medicae tool of his office); a boltgun, bolt pistol and chainsword for self Defence; no heavy or special weapons the healer keeps the racing line manned, he does not add a gun to it

The narthecium comes first — the medicae tool of his office. Past it, the Apothecary carries only what a man needs to stay alive: a boltgun, a bolt pistol, a chainsword. No heavy weapons, no specials. His work is the wounded and the fallen's gene-seed, not the firefight; he keeps the racing line manned rather than add a gun to it.

  • Mark Terminator
  • Boltgun

  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Melta Bombs
Restricted
  • No heavy weapons the Khan runs the enemy down, he does not sit and range them

No fighter on the roster carries a wider list. The Khan wears power armour as standard; he may step up to Gravis or Terminator plate, though by tradition the Chapter rides in Power. Every pistol is his. So are the boltgun and storm-bolter basics, and the whole close-combat rack up to the power fist, with frag, krak and melta bombs besides. He alone bears the relic Moonfang, dons the Storm's Eye, and rides the master-crafted bike at the head of the wing. Heavy weapons he leaves to others — the Khan runs the enemy down, he does not sit and range them.

Chaplain equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Mark Terminator
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Crozius
  • Master Crafted Bike
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • Crozius only in melee (the warrior Priest's mace); a bolt or plasma pistol for ranged self Defence; may take a master Crafted bike to ride with the host or the Terminator mark; no basics, specials or heavy weapons his armament is the creed of the hunt he preaches

In melee the Chaplain carries one thing: the crozius, the warrior-priest's mace. For range he keeps a bolt or plasma pistol, no more. He may ride the master-crafted bike to hold pace at the head of the wing, or take the Terminator mark instead. Basics, specials, heavy weapons — none of them. His true armament is the creed of the hunt, preached to the riders wheeling around him.

Dreadnought equipment list
Allowed
  • Heavy Bolter
  • Multi Melta
  • Lascannon
  • Heavy Flamer
Restricted
  • Armament is walker Scoped the twin mount and the Dreadnought CCW are part of the chassis, not purchased from the shared racks; the rare fortress the mounted host fields when it needs an anvil

The Dreadnought's armament is walker-scoped: its heavy weapon and Dreadnought fist are part of the sarcophagus chassis, fitted to the war-engine rather than drawn from the shared infantry racks. It is the rare fortress the mounted host fields when it needs an anvil at the heart of the hunt.

Librarian equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Mark Terminator
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Force Weapon
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • Force weapon only in melee (the Stormseer's blade); a bolt or plasma pistol for ranged work; may take the Terminator mark; no basics, specials or heavy weapons his real armament is the storm Craft of Chogoris

The Stormseer bears a force weapon alone in melee and a bolt or plasma pistol for ranged work. He may take the Terminator mark, but no basics, specials or heavy weapons — his real armament is the storm-craft of Chogoris, drawn separately from the racks. He fights with the weather at his back, not a gun in his hands.

Lieutenant equipment list

  • Mark Power
  • Mark Gravis
  • Mark Terminator

  • Storms Eye
  • Master Crafted Bike
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
  • Melta Bombs

  • The second leads a wheeling arm, he does not anchor a gunline

The Lieutenant mirrors the Khan's list but for the named tulwar. He may take any pistol, the bolt and storm-bolter basics, and the close-combat rack up to the power fist, with frag, krak and melta bombs. Any mark up to Terminator is open to him, though he too rides in Power, and he may bear the Storm's Eye and ride the master-crafted bike. He carries no heavy weapons — the second leads a wheeling arm of the charge, he does not anchor a gunline.

  • The anchor the wheeling charge drives the enemy onto

The foot Marine carries the deepest rack of the rank-and-file. He may take any mark up to Terminator, the bolt basics, the flamer, melta and plasma specials, and a Devastator heavy tier — the multi-melta and heavy bolter — that the mounted host leaves to the line, its heaviest guns unlocking with Reputation. A sergeant may bear a power fist. He is the anchor the wheeling charge drives the enemy onto: the weight that stands where the riders will not.

  • The bike is always ridden (the Cavalry line) and baked into the 205 Credit body; the twin boltguns, a pistol, a bike Scoped flamer or meltagun special and a blade are the arsenal, with the Attack Bike and Invader ATV as heavier mount variants and the relic mounts and Storm's Eye for the veteran rider; no infantry heavy weapons the host fires on the move and wheels away

The Outrider never dismounts. The bike is the Cavalry line, and it is part of the fighter itself. Everything it carries is made to fight on the move — the storm-bolter and boltgun basics, a pistol, a bike-scoped flamer or meltagun, a blade as good as a power sword. Heavier mounts stand ready behind it: the Attack-Bike, the Invader ATV, and for a veteran rider the master-crafted bike or the Storm's Eye. No infantry heavy weapons ride with the host. It fires on the move and wheels away; it never stops to range.

Mounted Scout equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Carapace
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Carbine
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Combat Knife
  • Chainsword
  • Frag Grenade
  • Smoke
Restricted
  • Carapace only (the neophyte mark), the bike always ridden and baked into the body; a bolt carbine or boltgun, a pistol and a knife or chainsword; no specials, heavy weapons or power weapons the cheap fast tier that scouts and screens the charge

Neophyte's carapace, and a bike that never leaves it — the mount is part of the fighter. The Scout Bike arms light and quick: a bolt carbine or boltgun, a pistol, a knife or chainsword, with frag and smoke to cover the wheel-away. No specials. No heavy weapons, no power weapons. This is the cheap fast tier that scouts and screens ahead of the charge, never the one that lands it.

Redemptor Dreadnought equipment list
Allowed
  • Heavy Flamer
  • Multi Melta
  • Heavy Bolter
  • Plasma Cannon
Restricted
  • Gatling and the Redemptor fist are part of the chassis, not bought from the shared racks

The Redemptor's armament is walker-scoped and super-heavy: the macro plasma incinerator, the heavy flamer or gatling, and the Redemptor fist are all part of the chassis, fitted to the war-engine rather than bought from the shared racks. It is the greatest weight the host will bring to a fight the bikes cannot ride around.

Scout equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Carapace
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Carbine
  • Astartes Shotgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Bolt Sniper Rifle
  • Combat Knife
  • Chainsword
  • Frag Grenade
Restricted
  • Carapace only (the neophyte mark); the sniper rifle is the Scout's one special (the forward marksman); no heavy weapons, no power weapons the cheap forward tier whose body is only beginning its tempering

Carapace, the neophyte's mark, and a loadout for forward work — the bolt basics and the shotgun, a pistol, a knife or a chainsword. His one special is the sniper rifle, the tool of the forward marksman and nothing heavier. No heavy weapons, no power weapons. He is the cheap forward tier, a body only beginning its tempering.

Techmarine equipment list
Allowed
  • Mark Power
  • Boltgun
  • Bolt Pistol
  • Meltagun
  • Grav Gun
  • Power Fist
  • Servo Skull
  • Signum
  • Frag Grenade
  • Krak Grenade
Restricted
  • Servo Arm (modelled as the power fist) in melee; the melta and grav specials for the smith's anti Armour work; bears the forge Craft gear the Signum and servo Skull; no heavy weapons, no marks above Power the artificer keeps the host's machines running

The Techmarine's melee weapon is the servo-arm, modelled as a power fist. To it he adds the smith's anti-armour tools — the meltagun and the grav-gun — with a boltgun and bolt pistol besides. He carries the forge-craft gear too, the Signum and a servo-skull. No heavy weapons. No mark above Power. His charge is not the enemy but the machines of the host: he keeps the bikes and the guns of the wing running.
