Welcome to Macromunda
Macromunda is an unofficial, fan-made expansion for Necromunda — a way to field whole Warhammer 40,000 factions as Necromunda (N18) gangs, every fighter and wargear priced on one shared credit currency so any faction can fight any other fairly.
What you can do here
- Browse the codex — every faction, House, fighter, weapon, skill and vehicle, rendered from the same source as the PDF field manuals. Open the codex →
- Build gangs — recruit fighters across factions, equip them, and watch the shared credit-costing keep the roster fair and legal as you go. My gangs →

Unofficial. Macromunda is an unofficial, fan-made expansion for the tabletop game Necromunda. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or approved by Games Workshop Limited in any way.
It requires the official products. Macromunda is an expansion — not a standalone game, and not a substitute for anything Games Workshop sells. To use it you must own the official Necromunda and Necromunda: Ash Wastes rulebooks. Wherever possible we omit the underlying Necromunda rules rather than restate them, giving only what is needed to use our own material; for the base game you must refer to the official rulebooks.
No Games Workshop content is reproduced. Macromunda contains no rules text, statistics, lore, fiction, artwork, imagery, or logos copied from any official Games Workshop material. Every rule, word, and image here has been created bespoke by the Macromunda team.
Non-commercial — permanently. Macromunda is free and strictly non-commercial. It is self-funded and run at a loss, purely as a passion project. No money is ever received or paid in connection with it: no sales, no donations, no Patreon or subscriptions, no advertising revenue, and no fundraising of any kind. It is, and always will be, distributed only as a free, no-charge download.
